Babble, another vegan like Dave and Camille.

7 09 2009

Babble or should I say Ward (his first name), has to one of the most annoying vegans who I’ve talked with.

Babble/Ward knows how to annoy and anger people much better then Camille or Dave Warwak, this is largely impart due to the fact he still has a trace of sanity in him, not much, just a bit.

Ward created the forum “Babble Forum” (How lame of a name is that?), where vegans like him could go and talk. About 4 months after he opened it the PeTA forums shut down and his blog largely became the new PeTA/vegan forums.

Ward will deny this until he’s blue in the face, but what he won’t tell people is that in the days before the PeTA forums closed various links were posted to his forums, therefore alerting the members of the PeTA forums that another set of forums was available.

Once the PeTA forums closed, he denied this ever happened and closed registration to almost everyone, keeping the small group of people he had and had gotten.

I tried to join his forums multiple times and he failed to let me be a member, which I have no problems with, since I was mostly just seeing if I could get on them after he restricted everything.

Once he had done all the him and his members then decided they hated “PeTA” and would not associate with the group they were once part of.

I’ve had E-mail conversations with Ward and he’s almost as bad as Dave and Camille. I really think he wants to be like them , I have no doubts his goal is to get to the same place Dave and Camille are at.

Ward is just one of the many vegans who think he’s helping the animals in someway, but as we know, he’s only kidding himself.

We think there is still some hope for him, but we may be wrong.

How can you people thrive on cruelty?!?
Christ all mighty, what kind of parents were you raised by?!
Did they take you to a slaughterhouse for a weekend trip?!
I just have so much trouble with yolur thrist for cruelty, its excitement for you, thats twisted. Shame on you…..

Judith-get a grip there girl. Eating meat is not cruel, in fact it’s kind of tasty.

We have all heard our share of the animal rights rhetoric. Save it for the kids.

Judith… I was raised by parents that let me choose my own life and make mistakes all the way. What I was not raised to be was a follower and take things at face value.

I come from a town that has the auction house on one side and slaughter house a short distance away. And, I’ve smelled cattle feed in the morning (not itself always a pleasant smell) and other smells throughout the day. It doesn’t bother me because I respect the circle of life – even in plant life I know that animals and bugs die so I can eat those items as well.

And – if you read Camille’s blogs or PETA’s blogs, you’ll see that the thirst for cruelty (be it toward another human, animal or just mean to be mean), on both sides of the argument. The comments you made in your last paragraph here would describe exactly what Camille and Warwak have done to those who are not strict vegans.

Ok, Judith, you think that is wrong to kill animals for food. I get it. Fine. I get that you AR people live for making personal attacks. But where do you get of questioning our upbringing and especially our parents? Did your parents raise you to be Vegan or Vegiatrian or AR? I doubt it. You were allowed to make your own choises were you not? Were you forced into your beliefs?
Some of my dad’s family were farmers and I have been to the farms and yes, I have seen several slughterhouses. Guess what? They were nothing like you see in PeTA’s videos. Most of them are not. Of course there are exceptions that need to be adressed. Most of you have no clue about agriculture, animal husbandry or basic biology.
I can differentiate between true abuse like neglecting or intentionaly harming pets or stray animals, or shooting a deer for just it’s horns or head. I don’t agree with animals being taken from the wild for the pet trade, especilly when plenty of captive bred are available. Some animals are free, some share our homes and some used food and clothes. The human race has prospered for centuries with meat as a substantial part of our diet. If it was so bad, we wouldn’t be here now would we? Animals have helped us in almost every aspect of our lives that to say that they never should have been domesticaled or harvested in the first place shows a true ignorance of history.
We are not heartless, we are realistic. Do you really think that protests, and occasional vandalism is going to change anything. Meat production is up and expected to double in the next few years. What has your being a vegan acctually done to help animals? Not a damn thing. There is no hard evidence that being vegan does anything to reduce the number of animals killed. All it does is make you feel good, just like religion. Psst, you are not healthier than us eaither. Warwack is a tubby mother fucker, so whats his excuse? So is Paul Watson. That asshole has to be vegan.
Some of you seem to be so angry all the time. Living your life worrying if anything you buy or consume is “cruelty free” is no way to live, IMO. Shit, theres more to life than worrying about animals.
Remeber the next time that you sit down to a veggie meal that animals died to bring you your meal. Deer, rabbits and racoons were shot and traped to protect your food. You can’t deny it and don’t dissmiss it. You wouldn’t want to be a hypocrite now would you?

“Eating meat destroy the seed of compassion” –Siddartha Gautama (Buddha)

Funny. Considering he ate meat up until the day he died.

Steve… eating vegetables is the same thing because animals die in the process of harvest. In fact, IMHO – it is vegetarians who lack the seed of compassion because they assess those animals who die in the process of harvesting grain “Collateral Damage” meaning their deaths are worthless.

At least those who eat meat know that the animal’s death is not worthless – several benefit from the consumption of the meat and use of the fur/leather for clothing. That’s also why some such as I hate people killing animals for only fur or one part of their body – it shows a lack of compassion toward the animal and is a waste of said animal.

(And, I agree with a lot of people here – comments like yours that quote these intellectuals as vegetarians when it’s been proven by societal or other written documentation that they weren’t – makes you look foolish).

Buddha is like everyone else – has his own opinion.

(And Steve… you’ve yet to actually argue with me in a logical debate, so either put up or shut up. This comment doesn’t count – no real evidence toward why his quote actually is legitimate to omnivores, given that you can easily insert vegetarianism into the statement and it also be factual. Case in point – Camille, Warwak and you.)

9 09 2009
O.O

And what do i care about what Buddha said?
I am going to eat meat because i like it not because someone forced it down my throat.

Exactly. Why should I give a shit what Buhdda said or ate? Wasn’t he a fat ass? If he didn’t eat meat then he sure as hell stuffed his face with everything else. Quoting ancient philosophers impresses no one and proves nothing. Pehaps you can provide proof that eating meat is wrong? Not opinion or subjective moral arguments, hard, indispuatable proof. Thought so.

10 09 2009
Steve

You have no HARD INDISPUTABLE proof for your side of the argument either. Stalemate!!

10 09 2009
mel

If this is true then Steve, why the hell do you even bother quoting Buddha? (Oh wait I know – it’s because you THINK you’re right all the time even when you can’t prove you are.)

And yes – Buddha was fat, that’s why he’s been sculpted like he is – round. Even the animals are sculpted that way too.

Touchy arent we? I never claimed to have any. It’s my opinion that there is nothing wrong with killing animals for food. I don’t care what you eat. I don’t believe everyone should be omni. However you people are claiming that we should all be vegan, and we want proof of why it would be better. The person making the claims has the burdon of providing the evidence. If I told you I had a unicorn in my closet, then I would have to prove it wouldn’t I? You say I should be a vegan, so prove it.

There is nothing wrong with eating meat, its a natural part of life. How do you think are ancestors survived?

Open Season

I live on 50 acres of land. Early antler-less deer season starts soon I better sight in my red dot on the Lee Enfield No.4, 30 yards I reckon. It will be a good heavy brush gun. For longer ranges I shall use my M1 Garand loaded with 152 grain .30-06, shes already sighted in for 50 yards but we’ll see on paper this coming week when my friend and I sight in our rifles at the range. He has an R700 with magnum ports and a Leopold scope. Really nice rifle, chambered in .300 WIN MAG.

I’m no sadist so I’m going to request that his dad lend him use of his Smith and wesson .44 magnum. I don’t like to wait for the deer to bleed out, one shot to the neck with the magnum will always make it painless.

Good luck this season men, the deer herd here in the midwest is way out of control, lots of CWD.

Can you really ask what reason Pythagoras had for abstaining from flesh? For my part I rather wonder both by what accident and in what state of soul or mind the first man did so, touched his mouth to gore and brought his lips to the flesh of a dead creature, he who set forth tables of dead, stale bodies and ventured to call food and nourishment the parts that had a little before bellowed and cried, moved and lived. How could his eyes endure the slaughter when throats were slit and hides flayed and limbs torn from limb? How could his nose endure the stench? How was it that the pollution did not turn away his taste, which made contact with the sores of others and sucked juices and serums from mortal wounds? … It is certainly not lions and wolves that we eat out of self-defense; on the contrary, we ignore these and slaughter harmless, tame creatures without stings or teeth to harm us, creatures that, I swear, Nature appears to have produced for the sake of their beauty and grace. But nothing abashed us, not the flower-like like tinting of the flesh, not the persuasiveness of the harmonious voice, not the cleanliness of their habits or the unusual intelligence that may be found in the poor wretches. No, for the sake of a little flesh we deprive them of sun, of light, of the duration of life to which they are entitled by birth and being. –Plutarch

Kill one animal and you’re cruel. Kill thousands and it’s agriculture.
